

You didn't give us enough to work with as far as the exect specs go and I get that you said that you chose it for its graphics capabilities so I'm assuming that you paid for a 15 inch macbook pro recently, which has a Radeon Pro 555 or 560 just going off of this. I'm not saying that using Blender with this computer isn't possible, but you could almost certainly have done better with the same budget. I can't really tell you exactly what you'll want to do since what you change those controls to will be a matter of personal preference. Assuming that you don't purchase more hardware, it's still you're best bet to become really familiar with that input tab.

You'll still have to configure some settings in the input tab of the User Preferences to change all the controls from alt to another key that you do have.
